Payne has recently been tweeting about an oversold airplane situation he was involved in. Passengers were offered $2,500 to take another flight. This oversold situation has always been compared to the MMTLP fiasco, where there are likely not enough seats on the AST “airplane.”

Payne has always been one of the most adamant supporters of retail and the MMTLP fiasco. He put coverage of the Occupy SEC protest in January of 2023 live on his Making Money program.
