Another expected filing in the recent case that involves RICO charges comes from oversold broker Tradestation.
We just heard from FINRA in the Inter-coastal Waterways, LLC v. Tradestation case last week, filing a motion to dismiss and reiterating their immunity. Tradestation, a broker allegedly in trouble with MMTLP for quite some time, pushes arbitration and lacks jurisdiction.
Both of these filings were expected. The Basile Law firm is handling the case and is expected to reply soon.
Arbitration is one of the biggest stumbling blocks for MMTLP shareholders, as regulators and brokers had strong clauses in their broker agreements. Community member and Attorney Richard Hofman went through Fidelity arbitration and reported that it was a joke.
Let’s see what’s up next from Basile and the judge in this interesting case.
