Alex Biscuit reports that Congress has officially requested the MMTLP Blue sheets from FINRA. The steps listed to receive the information were reported as:
- Polite request
- Formal congressional request
- Congressional subpoena
It has also been reported that Monday morning the SEC and FOIA departments called an emergency all-hands meeting between the two agencies. There is some speculation as to whether Howard’s FOIA request “slipped through the cracks” and they never planned on any FOIA requests being approved.
