Based on court documents we see that the upcoming hearing for this case was “canceled”.

On April 29 we reported a case that involved Next Bridge Hydrocarbons filing a petition against Tradestation.

The hearing date was scheduled for 5/31/24.

As of now, we do not know why the hearing was canceled.

People are speculating that there may have been some type of settlement between the parties, i.e., Tradestation has agreed to supply the necessary data to Next Bridge.

Attorney Mark Basile responded with a tweet to Raeman Soups’ somewhat joyful reaction to the report of the cancellation

How does anyone know they didn't settle prior to the hearing by providing the information? That is a distinct possibility – happens a lot. Hearings can be cancelled for a multitude of reasons. Cases can also be dismissed based on settlements by the parties outside of court.

At this point, we don’t have an official answer, but possibly a new PR from Next Bridge will surface in the coming days.
