It was reported by qntainmnt in Twitter spaces that John Brda has had a meeting with Louisiana Congressman Mike Johnson. Later we have confirmed from Brda that this meeting was not with Mike himself, but with his aide named Brad.

With two decades of previous experience in Constitutional law, Mike Johnson serves on the House Judiciary Committee, and is the top Republican for its Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties.

It was also confirmed by Patrick Keaveny that Mike has been quite interested in the MMTLP story and has met with community members at least 2 additional times. This is the first meeting with John Brda.

Junk Savvy added Kurtis and Huckleberry to the list of meeting attendees in a tweet.

We can all hope that this meeting will bring positive results for our community, but it sounds like a very optimistic development.
