A Yahoo! Finance article indicates there may be some regulation for short sales coming.

Is the MMTLP community getting through? Or is most of this short sale regulation only due to the recent shorting of bank stocks and their failures? It will remain to be seen if the DOJ comes out with rules that only target banks, or all stocks in general? Perhaps stocks on the OTC market would not be allowed? We’ll have to wait and see. But any regulation and the fact that it’s even being discussed is a positive step in the right direction.
